Get more out of ForeFlight with free training guides
The ForeFlight app is growing at an incredible pace these days, adding powerful new features every few months. Besides developing the most widely-used EFB app in the aviation industry, ForeFlight has also gained a reputation for providing excellent product support for its customers–something that seems to be more the exception than the norm in the mobile app industry.
One area where this support really stands out is in the comprehensive documentation ForeFlight includes with the app. While most are probably familiar with the main ForeFlight Pilot’s Guide, many may not realize that they also offer a selection of feature-specific guides to help you get more out of these functions. Each is well-organized, easy to follow and includes lots of screenshots for quick learning.
Each of these guides are available right in the Documents section of the app and must be downloaded first before you can view them. When in the Documents section of the ForeFlight app, press the Catalog button in the upper right, select ForeFlight from the catalog options and tap the ones you want to save. It’s not a bad idea to download them all while you’re here since they’re relatively small in size, and then they’ll be available too in the airplane if you need to look up something later when an internet connection is not available.
Here is a list of the guides offered in the app, with links to view and download the PDF versions right from this page:
