Garmin has expanded its popular Garmin Pilot ecosystem to include a brand-new browser-based tool: Garmin Pilot Web. This online flight planning resource is designed to complement the Garmin Pilot mobile app and offers a robust suite of features—many of which are free to all pilots, regardless of subscription status.
With Garmin Pilot Web, pilots can now plan flights using high-resolution VFR/IFR charts, topographic and satellite views, and a wide variety of overlays including radar, METARs/TAFs, TFRs, winds aloft, and more—all from any desktop browser. The interactive map view makes it easy to build a basic route, calculate fuel burn, and review airport and weather details at a glance.

Pilots can plan flights using high-resolution VFR/IFR charts, topographic and satellite views, and a wide variety of overlays including radar.
For Garmin Pilot mobile app users in North America, Garmin Pilot Web unlocks even more capabilities. These include:
- Full flight plan creation, saving, and filing
- Access to detailed aircraft profiles and performance planning
- A procedure selector that displays departures, arrivals, and approaches right on the map
- Live internet traffic layer with flight details
- Automatic sync of flights and aircraft across devices

Garmin Pilot mobile app users can sync flights across multiple devices.
The Aircraft tab allows users to add or edit aircraft, either from templates or manually, and tailor performance settings. These details sync with the mobile app to streamline preflight planning.
Garmin Pilot Web is available now at pilotweb.garmin.com. Pilots can try out the free features immediately, or sign in with a Garmin Pilot account to access the full toolset. Currently, full feature access is available in North America, with more regions expected in the future.
