New personal weather station available for iPhone & iPad
Netatmo, a company dedicated to designing products that monitor the weather and environment, recently unveiled its new Urban Weather Station, a new device specifically designed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that allows users to monitor indoor and outdoor environmental elements including temperature, humidity, air pressure, CO2 levels and more. The Netatmo Weather Station quantifies personal environments like the home and office, and wirelessly transmits data through WiFi to the Netatmo App, which features an intuitive, easy-to-read interface.
The system comes with two wireless sensors, one for outdoors and one for indoors, and sends the information to your i-device over your local WiFi network. While the system doesn’t provide wind or sky conditions, we think it would be a great addition for an FBO or stationed at your aircraft hangar (if in WiFi range). The system is available for $179, and is available directly from Netatmo: Personal Weather Station for iPad.
