Apple introduces new iPad

Apple today announced a new iPad model, featuring significant improvements to the device’s hardware. The most notable feature is the new Retina display, which now has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels – four times that of the iPad 1 & 2. The device also features a faster processor and improved graphics performance.
Here’s a quick list of the new features:
- Retina display – 2048 x 1536 pixels
- A5X and quad-core graphics processor
- Improved 1080p camera
- Voice dictation
- Optional 4G LTE data, with support for AT&T and Verizon
The new iPad still features a 10 hour battery life, and maintains the same pricing and memory options: $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB. The models with 4G LTE and 3G support cost $130 more, and also feature an internal GPS.
