New Real World Flight Review Course Now in the Sporty’s Pilot Training App

The new Real World Flight Review course combines two proven programs into one powerful package: Sporty’s Flight Review course and PilotWorkshops’ Real World VFR. Together, they cover both the knowledge and the real-world flying skills you need to stay sharp and confident.

Start with Sporty’s Flight Review course, featuring over two and a half hours of engaging video and 3D animations covering key topics like weather, regulations, airspace, and aeromedical factors. You’ll also earn the ground training endorsement required for your flight review after passing the included quiz.

Then, climb into the right seat with PilotWorkshops for ten “fly-along” lessons that take you on real VFR adventures—from landing at Boston Logan to navigating the Hudson River Corridor. Each flight includes a full briefing, real-time ATC communications, and an in-depth debrief to reinforce what you’ve learned.

Eric Radtke

It was his first airplane trip at age seven that made Eric decide to become a pilot. "While boarding the airplane, a flight attendant noticed my interest in the flight deck and urged me to go talk to the pilot. I give a lot of credit to that pilot for my career choice."
