    A good refresher quiz.
I had a strange occupancy after a flight when I went to review the flight. Over the land areas it was all RED and over the water area all YELLOW. I tried turning it off an a few restarts and couldn’t find anything in settings to determine what what was causing the issue. The next day everything was back to normal. I should have taken a screen shot, but didn’t.
    GREAT program.

Thanks, this is great information. We just started flying with our iPads and are currently involved in a very long cross country and this relates perfectly to our situation.

I use a Ram window suction-cup mount for my iPad mini.
By placing a sheet of white paper or cardboard between cradle and iPad, I find it less likely to overheat.

The best way to stop over heating iPads is to fully charge before putting in the plane , secondly remove all apps on the iPad but what is needed for ForeFlight to operate. Thirdly, direct your air vents onto the iPads and when purchasing buy with silver black and white background !
