On April 19, Sporty’s hosted a live webinar on ADS-B and new cockpit technology for pilots. The hour-long presentation covered the basics of ADS-B, relevant FAA regulations and the options for both panel and portable ADS-B receivers. This included a detailed look at Stratus, Sporty’s new ADS-B weather receiver for ForeFlight.

Coming from an aviation family, John grew up in the back of small airplanes and learned to fly as a teenager. Ever since, he has been hooked on aviation of all kinds and regularly flies a Citabria, a Pilatus PC-12, and a Cirrus SR22.
