ForeFlight Tip: Synthetic Vision and Glide Advisor

This week’s tip takes a look at how to use ForeFlight’s optional synthetic vision display in the app. This simulated view of the outside world displays ground features and terrain alongside the app’s digital flight instruments. It can even show traffic in 3D space when connected to an ADS-B receiver. We’ll also show you how to set up and use the Glide Advisor feature, which can be a real lifesaver in the unlikely event of power loss at altitude.
