Sportys is screwing pilots with their high prices on the ADBS receivers with Foreflight.
I have to disagree with that. ADSB is subscription free for one, and Stratus is about $500 less than that Clarity box. I’m really happy with my Stratus2 and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

That’s a bit harsh. They have chosen a proprietary solution, but there are competitive products out there and we can vote with our wallets.
It’s a shame that all of the software developers have decided to write proprietary software that does not work with multiple manufacturers ADS-B devices.
John R., I find that Wing X handles several ADS-B providers.
That is correct, WingX currently supports ADS-B receivers from 8 manufacturers.
