WingX Pro will soon be available for Android phones and tablets, in addition to iPhones and iPads.

Hilton Software, developer of the popular WingX Pro7 aviation app for iPhone and iPad, announced today that a version of WingX Pro7 will be available for Android soon. WingX Pro has supported a wide range of mobile operating systems long before the iPhone and iOS were released in 2007, and this latest version brings support for a wide-range of additional phones and tablet that rely on the Android operating system.

WingX Pro for Android’s moving map includes VFR Sectionals, IFR High and Low en route charts, planned routes, weather, TFRs, and Special Use Airspace overlays. WingX Pro for Android adds integration with Lockheed Martin’s innovative Flight Services system, Geo-Referenced Approach Charts and will continue to be enhanced with the features already on WingX Pro for iOS. WingX Pro’s universal account system will allow pilots to run WingX Pro7 on iOS and Android using a single account.

WingX Pro for Android isn’t available for download quite yet, but should be ready in the second quarter of 2015. Hilton Software will be demonstrating WingX Pro for Android at Sun-n-Fun 2015 in Lakeland, FL this week.
